Every time we visit Spain, one of our first missions is to find a bar selling bocadillo sandwiches. Deliciously simple, our favorite bocadillo consists of a freshly baked loaf of bread sliced in half and seasoned with olive oil, then layered with thin slices of jamón and aged cheese.

You can create a bocadillo with a wedge of tortilla española or roasted peppers, or thin slices of grilled pork. But to us, a bocadillo de jamón is the best version of this very Spanish sandwich.

This kit includes two large loaves of bread imported from Galicia, a pack of thinly sliced Serrano ham and a wedge of mild, flavorful Ibérico cheese from La Mancha. You just have to bake the bread for 10 minutes and add the ingredients to create one of the world's great sandwiches!
